Day 1. Sun 25 Oct: Homeport - Melbourne - Ballarat - Eureka Centre

Upon arrival into Melbourne, we are welcomed by our friendly Tour Host. Travelling west through Victoria’s historic goldfields, we arrive in Ballarat and check into our accommodation. This afternoon we visit the Eureka Centre, where the story of the Eureka Stockade and the 1854 miners’ rebellion is brought to life through engaging displays. We return to the hotel to relax before enjoying dinner in the motel restaurant.

Day 2. Mon 26 Oct: Ballarat - St Arnaud - Rupanyup - Horsham
After breakfast we commence our journey through the Wimmera Mallee Silo Art Trail. Travelling via Learmonth for a refreshment stop, we continue to St Arnaud to view our first silo mural, Hope. In Rupanyup we enjoy lunch at SeednSprout and visit Wood’s Farming and Heritage Museum. This afternoon we explore the remarkable Murtoa Stick Shed, one of Australia’s most unique rural buildings, before continuing to Horsham. We view another silo mural before checking in and enjoying dinner at the motel.

Day 3. Tue 27 Oct: Horsham - Sea Lake
This morning we travel to Dimboola to view Smug’s impressive wall mural, then continue to the Arkona silos featuring local identity Roley Klinge. In Nhill we stop for a cuppa and tour the Nhill Aviation Heritage Centre, learning about its vital World War II history. Lunch is enjoyed at Yurunga Homestead and Gardens in Rainbow, followed by visits to Albacutya and Rosebery silo murals. Late afternoon we arrive in Sea Lake to view the striking Lake Tyrrell silo mural before dinner at the Royal Hotel.

Day 4. Wed 28 Oct: Walpeup - Silos - Lake Tyrrell
Following breakfast at the Sky Mirror Gallery, we loop through the Mallee visiting Patchewollock and Walpeup, where the silo mural honours the moving story of young Harold Thomas Bell. Inside the Walpeup Town Hall, a local historian explains the town’s tapestry mural and history. We then travel to Granny Jo’s Farm at Nandaly, enjoying a relaxed country-style lunch and hearing firsthand stories of Mallee farming life. This evening we head to Lake Tyrrell to witness a spectacular sunset with drinks before returning for dinner

Day 5. Thu 29 Oct: Woomerlang - Nullawil - Brim - Stawell
After breakfast we travel to Woomelang to meet a local historian and view the wall and mobile silo murals, as well as the historic Kerosene Tin Shearing Shed. In Nullawil we stop at the quirky Trickbots Metal Art Garden before visiting the silo mural featuring a working dog and handler. Lunch is enjoyed at Auchmore Homestead and Museum, offering a nostalgic insight into early pioneer life. This afternoon we view the famous Brim and Sheep Hills silo murals before arriving in Stawell for dinner.

Day 6. Fri 30 Oct: Grampians NP - Great Western - Melbourne
This morning we travel into the Grampians National Park, enjoying sweeping views from Boroka Lookout and Reed Lookout. We then visit the magnificent MacKenzie Falls, one of Victoria’s largest and most impressive waterfalls, with time to explore the various viewing platforms. Leaving the Grampians, we continue to Seppelts Great Western Winery for lunch, a guided tour of the historic underground Champagne Cellars and wine tastings. Our memorable journey concludes as we travel back to Melbourne for our return flight home.
