Day 1. Thu 1 Jul: Homeport to Uluru
FLIGHT DETAILS: Homeport - Ayers Rock (flight details to be advised) We arrive at Ayers Rock Airport today and transfer to Desert Gardens Resort for a one-night stay. This afternoon, visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to discover Anangu culture, browse the Maruku and Walkatjara Art Stores, and enjoy the Ininti Cafe. We circle the base of Uluru with our Driver Guide, learning about sacred sites, native flora and fauna, and the striking Mutitjulu Waterhole. In the late afternoon, we travel to a dedicated viewing area to watch the famous Uluru sunset over refreshments, before a magical evening beneath the desert sky with Uluru as your backdrop, enjoying a delicious BBQ dinner as night falls.

Day 2. Fri 2 Jul: Uluru to Kings Canyon
This morning, enjoy an included breakfast buffet before checking out and travelling to Kata Tjuta. Take a gentle walk through Walpa Gorge among its towering domes, then take in sweeping views from the Dune Viewing Area. Journey through dramatic outback scenery to Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park, with comfort stops and commentary on the region's geology and history. Check into Kings Canyon Resort for a two-night stay, relax and admire a stunning desert sunset over the ranges, then enjoy an included two-course dinner at the Kings Canyon Bar & Grill.

Day 3. Sat 3 Jul: Kings Canyon
After an included breakfast buffet, spend the day exploring Kings Canyon's natural wonders. Our driver guide leads a leisurely Creek Bed walk along the canyon floor to a scenic lookout, sharing insights on geological formations, native plants and wildlife. Return to the resort for free time to relax and enjoy the facilities. This evening, discover British artist Bruce Munro's immersive sound and light installation at sunset, enjoying canapes and drinks with a native influence as the towers transform, followed by an included two-course dinner at Kings Canyon Bar & Grill.

Day 4. Sun 4 Jul: Kings Canyon to Uluru
After an included buffet breakfast, we farewell Kings Canyon and begin our return journey to Ayers Rock. We travel through the heart of the Red Centre, taking in final views of the remarkable desert landscapes, with comfort stops along the way. Our guide shares insights into the region's history and ecology as we go. Check into our hotel for a free afternoon to relax and unwind, with our Tour Leader and Driver on hand with recommendations. This evening, enjoy an included two-course farewell dinner at the hotel's Mangata restaurant.

Day 5. Mon 5 Jul: Uluru to Homeport
Having already experienced Bruce Munro's work at Kings Canyon, we now discover his most iconic installation at sunrise. We wander the Field of Light at our own pace, a sea of 50,000 glowing spheres, before climbing a sand dune to the viewing area. Here we're served tea, coffee or hot chocolate as the sun rises and lights up the desert, with sweeping views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta as the landscape comes to life.
