Day 1. Wed 17 Feb: Arrive Launceston
Flight details: To be advised
Arrive in Launceston where you are met at the airport and transferred to your centrally located hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing time to settle in after your journey. Relax at the hotel, enjoy a gentle stroll nearby or visit a local café at your own pace. This unhurried introduction ensures you are well rested and comfortable before touring begins. Dinner tonight is at your hotel.

Day 2. Thu 18 Feb: Launceston & Beyond
Enjoy a full day of included sightseeing in and around Launceston. Begin with a highlights drive before a 50-minute Cataract Gorge cruise showcasing both historic and modern aspects of the city. Travel to Longford to explore the World Heritage-listed Brickendon Estate with insights into early colonial and convict history. After an included lunch, visit the Tasmanian Gourmet Sauce Company for tastings and a garden stroll. Return to your hotel to relax before enjoying dinner.

Day 3. Fri 19 Feb: Bay of Fires Walk day one
After travelling from Launceston, arrive at the stunning Bay of Fires, renowned for white beaches and orange lichencovered granite boulders. Enjoy lunch near Eddystone Point Lighthouse, with time to explore its history. This afternoon walk along far-stretching beaches toward the Bay of Fires Lodge. On arrival, enjoy afternoon tea and a foot spa (not included), with optional spa treatments available. The evening features relaxed lodge time and a Tasmanian long-table dinner. Approximately five hours of walking.

Day 4. Sat 20 Feb: Bay of Fires Walk day two
Approximately six hours of combined kayaking and walking. Wake to native birds and a cooked breakfast, with possible whale or dolphin sightings. Later, kayak along the tranquil Ansons River and cross bird-rich Ansons Bay before finishing with a gentle walk over the dunes of the Abbotsbury Peninsula back to the lodge. The afternoon is free to relax. After dinner, watch for native wildlife and enjoy the brilliant night sky from this remote and pristine coastline.

Day 5. Sun 21 Feb: Bay of Fires Walk day three and Freycinet
Following a leisurely breakfast, enjoy time for a swim or final spa treatment (additional cost) before departing the lodge. Today’s gentle walk passes through eucalypt forest and coastal heathland. Travel by private vehicle to Easy Tiger for lunch and then journey south toward Freycinet National Park, enjoying scenic coastal views. On arrival, check in to your accommodation and relax before dinner. Approximately one hour of walking.

Day 6. Mon 22 Feb: Freycinet Peninsula & Swansea
Explore the magnificent Freycinet Peninsula, travelling through Coles Bay to Cape Tourville. Walk the easily accessible boardwalk looping around the lighthouse, offering spectacular views of the Hazards, Wineglass Bay and offshore granite formations known as The Nuggets. Continue south to the seaside town of Swansea for lunch at The Saltshaker. The afternoon is spent returning to your accommodation, with time to relax and enjoy the coastal setting.

Day 7. Tue 23 Feb: Bicheno to Launceston
Travel from the east coast back to Launceston via the scenic Tamar Valley. Visit Platypus House at Beauty Point for a close encounter with Tasmania’s unique wildlife, followed by Seahorse World. Enjoy a cuppa and slice at the Cormorant Café before visiting the historic village of Evandale, one of Tasmania’s most evocative colonial streetscapes. Return to Launceston late afternoon with time to freshen up before a farewell dinner.

Day 8. Wed 24 Feb: Depart Launceston for your homeport
After breakfast, transfer to Launceston Airport for your onward journey. Assistance is provided with luggage and check-in if required.
