Day 1. Sat 11 April: Brisbane - Norfolk Island
This morning we meet at the Brisbane International airport to board our flight to Norfolk Island.

Upon arrival we are transferred to our accommodation where we check in for the next 7 nights. Ahead of us is a wonderful week of Norfolk Island hospitality enjoying dinner every night and full hot breakfasts every day. This evening we enjoy a 2 course dinner in the on-site restaurant.
Day 2. Sun 12 April: Norfolk Island Discovery Tour/Sunday Markets - Scenic BBQ Dinner B & D
Norfolk Island Discovery Tour & Sunday Markets
This morning we get to discover this wonderful Island. Our guide will explain all of the Island’s history from Polynesian settlements many years ago to how life is today on Norfolk Island. We cover most of the Island and learn what it was like in the first settlement, during penal times in Norfolk Island and the arrival of the Pitcairn Islanders, descendants of the famous Mutiny on the Bounty. Visit Kingston, Cascade, Anson Bay and the wonderful St Barnabas Chapel, as well as a visit to the local Sunday Markets.
Scenic BBQ Dinner
The Scenic BBQ is an alfresco experience at a scenic location and an opportunity to taste the local beef and other side dishes while being serenaded by a local entertainer surrounded by Norfolk’s beauty.

Day 3. Mon 13 April: Norfolk Island Culture Tour - Who Killed the Surveyor Dinner B & D
Norfolk Island Culture Tour
This tour showcases the rich and diverse cultural heritage, from the Polynesian and Tahitian fore-mothers, the Bounty Mutineer forefathers through to early influences of religion, and seafaring settlers joining the community including American Indians, African Americans, Irish, English, Sami and New Zealand Maori. Be welcomed to an Island home steeped in history and gratitude for the forebears, see artefacts passed down through the generations, listen to and learn about the local language, fishing, whaling, weaving, cooking, and the service to conflict and how these influences have shaped the community as Norfolk Islanders today. This tour shows us how Islanders have evolved through the ages, living sustainably from the land and sea through the seasons, working with mother earth as one. Sample some of the traditional seasonal dishes and try our hand at weaving, while relaxing in a tranquil laid back atmosphere.
Who Killed the Surveyor Mystery Dinner
Go back in time and dine with the Chief Magistrate Frederick Young and his wife Mary. Frederick is hosting this dinner to honour His Excellency, Governor General Denison who is making yet another visit to the island. A young English surveyor from Sydney is found washed up on the cove southeast of Point Hunter. Dine on a 3-course dinner while we help solve the mystery of “Who Killed the Surveyor?”

Day 4. Tues 14 April: Lavendar Farm Tour - Glass Bottom Boat - Night on the Bounty Dinner & Show B & D
Lavender Farm Tour
Our private tour includes an informative talk on their journey and challenges importing bare rooted plants into the island and setting up Norfolk Islands first ever Lavender Farm. Enjoy an easy walk round the farm with the owner’s and learn about the 15 different lavender varieties that have been planted. We will also see their other commercial plantings of Sage, Rosemary, Rose Geranium, Sunflowers and other vegetables that are grown on Fitzy’s Farm for use in their ‘paddock to plate’ farm experience. Glass Bottom boat
will take us on a cruise within the lagoon of Emily and Slaughter Bay. Norfolk Island has the second southernmost coral reef in the world and attracts a diversity of marine life. View varied species of coral and a wide variety of species of colourful fish as we cruise the crystal-clear pristine waters of the lagoon.
Night on the Bounty Dinner and Show
This world-famous story will be told by a cast of actors hosted at a theatre restaurant. Join in for a night on the Bounty, set sail on a journey from England to Tahiti on a fun night of feasting, frivolity, laughs and a factual and interactive dinner show. We hear the story of life that led to the Mutiny on the Bounty. The cast of this amazing feature show will have us enthralled as we all sail with Captain Bligh and the Mutineers from the famous Bounty - 3 courses.

Day 5. Wed 15 April: Colleen McCullough Home Tour - Convict Kingston Tour - Commandant’s Dinner B & D

Convict Kingston Tour
On this tour we learn about World Heritage Listed Kingston, hear about the first settlers, the Polynesians who came 900 years ago, the first and second convict settlements and the facts and legends associated with each. Learn how Norfolk became home to descendants of the infamous ‘Bounty’ mutiny. Walk through the historic cemetery.
Commandant’s Dinner
Imagine dining with a Commandant! This factual yet fun dinner theatre is the newest interactive show to hit Norfolk Island. The Commandant’s Dinner is a “must do” for our Norfolk visit! The cast of actors will take us on an entertaining journey back in time. Be enthralled by the Commandant’s stories about the notorious Convict Settlements on Norfolk Island and how the convicts were treated through punishment and reform. Listen to a chilling recall of one of the infamous rebellions. Marvel at how the Commandant’s and their families adapted to life in a Norfolk Island penal colony, recreating a little piece of England in the Pacific. Explore their great challenges, impressive successes and shameful secrets. The Commandant’s Dinner is a night of great entertainment, delectable hearty, wholesome British fare fit for a Commandant and his good lady wife, and loads of fun.

Day 6. Thurs 16 April: Breakfast Bushwalk - Taste Of Norfolk - Baunti Island Fish Fry B & D

Today we rise a little earlier to discover the incredible scenic beauty of Norfolk Island’s natural environment on a relaxing, informative and guided one hour bush walk. Learn about the unique ecosystems and endemic flora and fauna. Following our bush stroll we enjoy a well-deserved hearty breakfast within the park.
Taste of Norfolk
On our Taste of Norfolk we will meet first hand some passionate local producers: Meet a local salt maker, making sea salt from the pristine oceans that surround this beautiful island and taste the local beef. Enjoy a cooking demonstration with tasting of traditional dishes handed down by Tahitian foremothers and taste the local green banana fritters. Have a look at the beginning of a tea industry. Norfolk tea has a beautiful blend of teas to taste. Iced Berry, Earl Grey and Masala Chai, just to name a few. Visit a local bee keeper where we will view flow hives and learn about local honey bees as well as a tasting of local honey and fruit.
Baunti Island Fish Fry
This evening we enjoy one of Norfolk Island’s most famous dinners - the Island Fish Fry. We will have an eagle-eye view of the tiny crescent-shaped beach and the magnificent spread of ocean stretching to the far horizon. It’s the most glamorous picnic we will ever attend! Scrumptious fresh, local fish is prepared the local way and accompanied with a range of seasonal island dishes including those passed down from Polynesian fore-mothers. This extends even to dessert. Our feast kicks off with entertainment with a local singer and Tahitian-style dancers. The Island Fish Feast is something that we will remember as a highlight of our Norfolk tour.

Day 7. Fri 17 April: Norfolk Today Tour - Farm & Industry - Progressive Dinner B & D
Norfolk Today Tour
Learn how Norfolk Islanders live in the 21st Century and the essential services that make life on a tiny South Pacific island possible. How do we bring petrol and gas on island; power our world; deal with our waste; forecast the weather; keep ourselves informed and make a global contribution? The Norfolk Today Tour will make it all clear! We will visit parts of the island that few tourists ever see, we will meet the locals who make sure these daily miracles and services keep happening. This is a real behind the scenes experience, which shows the true workings on Norfolk Island. Includes refreshments.
Farm & Industry Tour
The farm tour is an iconic tour which Baunti Tours have revamped to include the following new venues, exclusive to Baunti Tours. A farm supplying seasonally grown fruit and vegetables to the marketplace, a palm nursery which is a state of-the-art nursery exporting palms to the world market. A stunning home garden with hydroponics where you will enjoy a cuppa as you wander around the property which is home to Bounty Mutineer Descendants. The Farm Tour of course, still travels to the Liqueur Factory and on the way to liqueur tasting, we will call past the local mill. A tour not to be missed whilst holidaying on island.
Progressive Dinner to Island Homes
Tonight we are collected from our resort to experience a wonderful evening together. The Progressive Dinner is legendary, and a fixture on Norfolk Island itineraries. The perfect way to get a taste of the real Norfolk lifestyle. Relax and enjoy home cooked food, bursting with the goodness of fresh island produce, chat with our fellow diners and soak up stories of our island hosts as they share their passion for their island home. 3 Courses - includes complimentary glass of wine with mains.
