FLIGHT DETAILS: Homeport - Brisbane (flight details upon request) Today we fly into Brisbane and meet our tour host before boarding the coach and continuing to the elegant Sanctuary Cove Resort and settle into our accommodation. Spend the afternoon exploring the marina village, boutique shops, waterfront boardwalks and relaxed coastal atmosphere. In the evening we will meet up for a delightful welcome dinner, providing the perfect opportunity to connect with the group and begin our Gold Coast and Northern Rivers discovery in comfort and style.

After breakfast at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove, we transfer to the Ferry Wharf, Appel Park, for a leisurely Gold Coast Buffet Lunch Sightseeing Cruise with Sea World Cruises, taking in the sights of the Broadwater over a relaxed lunch. Return to the hotel for free time to unwind or explore at leisure, before being collected this evening for the Australian Outback Spectacular - a hearty dinner paired with a thrilling arena show celebrating Australian stockman culture, horsemanship and outback heritage.

Today we depart Sanctuary Cove and travel into the lush hinterland landscapes of Tamborine Mountain. Wander Gallery Walk's charming village attractions, artisan stores and galleries, then walk along the treetop platforms of the Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk for sweeping views over the valley below. Enjoy a wine tasting at Cedar Creek Estate before a leisurely lunch surrounded by the mountain's natural beauty. Continue through rainforest-lined roads to O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat, where we can appreciate the peaceful setting, fresh mountain air and spectacular scenery. The afternoon offers relaxation and wildlife spotting before dinner.

Experience the beauty of World Heritage-listed rainforest during the famous Tree Top Walk, offering elevated views through the rainforest canopy. After lunch, attend the engaging Birds of Prey presentation and observe majestic raptors in action while learning about conservation efforts. We then embark on a 2 hour 4WD bus tour, venturing further into the surrounding wilderness. The remainder of the day allows time to enjoy the retreat's surroundings before dinner. This immersive experience highlights the region's extraordinary biodiversity and environmental significance.

Leave O’Reilly’s and journey south toward the Northern Rivers region. Visit Tropical Fruit World to discover exotic fruits, sustainable farming practices and the agricultural heritage of the area. Enjoy lunch before travelling to the Tweed Regional Gallery, home to inspiring exhibitions and exceptional views across the countryside. Learn about local art, culture and creative achievements while exploring the gallery spaces. Later, check in and settle into our accommodation. Dinner provides an opportunity to reflect on the day’s unique blend of nature, farming and artistic discovery.

Begin the day with a relaxing Tweed River Cruise, showcasing picturesque waterways, abundant birdlife and beautiful natural landscapes. Learn about the river’s history and environmental importance while enjoying a peaceful journey. Continue to Husk Farm Distillery for lunch in a scenic rural setting. Afterwards, enjoy a guided tour and tasting experience, gaining insight into the production of award-winning spirits and locally grown ingredients. The late afternoon is free for personal exploration or relaxation. Gather again for dinner and share memories from another rewarding day in the Northern Rivers region.

Travel to the charming village of Bangalow, known for its heritage streetscape, boutique shopping and welcoming atmosphere. Continue to Byron Bay and visit Cape Byron Lighthouse and take in breathtaking ocean panoramas from the easternmost point of mainland Australia, Enjoy free time to purchase some lunch and explore local shops, beaches or cafés before returning for a memorable farewell dinner. Celebrate the friendships, experiences and discoveries made throughout the journey while reflecting on the highlights of the Gold Coast and Northern Rivers tour.
