Arrive in Rovaniemi airport and transfer to Arctic Treehouse Hotel.

A short transfer takes you to the Husky Camp, where the enthusiastic arctic sled dogs greet you with barking and jumping - as if they were saying, come on, let's go. Huskies are passionate about running and that is why they are eager to take off with you in their sledge. But first things first: instructions on safety and driving. You and a friend are sharing a team of huskies and can take turns in mushing (driving) and being a passenger.



The route of 14-18 km (depending on weather and snow conditions as well as driving skills) takes you through an enchanted winter landscape. There will be stops when you can change places as musher and passenger. You will also have some photogenic moments midst the stunning nature and with the beautiful dogs. Once they have ran off some energy, they are calmer and let you enjoy the silent drive.



Back at the farm we will gather around the camp fire to hear the mushers tell about life with huskies. You will of course also have time to cuddle and pat your newfound friends before it is time to leave the husky farm.



Lunch will be served on your return to the hotel and the early afternoon is yours.



This evening, enjoy a White Christmas around the Christmas tree. You will have a Christmas Eve buffet and share this local experience. Santa and his reindeers will arrive during the evening with a special Christmas gift for each guest.

It's Christmas morning so it's a chance to sleep in. In the early afternoon, go for a snowmobile ride on the forest trails around the Santa Claus Village area, where parents can ride their own snowmobile while children travel in the sleigh pulled by the guide’s snowmobile. You will enjoy the beautiful wintery scenery. Along the way we will make several stops to admire snowy nature. 2 adults ride on one snowmobile, single riding supplement for extra charge.



After the safari, we gather around some fun winter games and hot berry juice served by a camp fire! Now, it is time for children’s snowmobile driving. The smallest family members (app 2-4 yrs.) get to drive mini skidoos on a safe track under supervision. The midi skidoos (app 5-14 yrs.) also have a dedicated track and are just what young girls and boys dream of – a replica of an adult snowmobile, but lighter.



Children of all ages love to play in the snow. Tobogganing slope, ice-carting, ice hockey, snow-sculpting or building snowmen, depending on weather and snow conditions. There is time to relax by a camp fire also, have a cup of berry juice and fry a sausage as a snack.



This evening, enjoy a British style Christmas Buffet at your hotel.

The morning is yours to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the hotel.



After lunch, it's time for a reindeer safari! Cosy up in a sleigh and enjoy the ride, take photos of the scenery around and take in the experinece of a reindeer caravan. The reindeer herder will treat you to coffee and buns by the outdoor fireplace and tell you the story of his family and his reindeer.



Dinner at the restaurant and afterwards, if the skies are clear, look out for the magical Northern Lights.
