Day 1. Mon 07 Jun: Homeport - Sydney - Hawkesbury Region

Arrive in Sydney and travel to the picturesque Hawkesbury region. We arrive at the historic Tizzana Winery, established in 1889, for a guided wine tasting and light lunch while discovering the winery’s rich heritage. In the afternoon, visit Ebenezer Church, Australia’s oldest surviving church, for a guided tour. We then travel to Rouse Hill, settle into our accommodation, and enjoy dinner at The Fiddler before an overnight stay.

Day 2. Tue 08 Jun: Riverboat Postman & Broken Bay Pearl Farm
Travel to Brooklyn on Broken Bay, gateway to the Hawkesbury River and setting of The Secret River. Board Australia’s last operating Riverboat Postman and cruise through spectacular waterways, delivering mail to remote riverside communities while enjoying morning tea and lunch onboard. Hear fascinating stories of life along the river as we pass secluded settlements accessible only by water. After the cruise, visit Broken Bay Pearl Farm’s Shellar Door to discover the secrets of pearling, pearl grading and shucking. Continue to Sydney, check into the View Hotel and enjoy dinner.

Day 3. Wed 09 Jun: Parramatta Heritage & Vivid Dinner Cruise
Today we step back in time with a guided historical tour of Parramatta, hosted by renowned historian Judith Dunn. Discover stories of colonial life as we visit the Old Government House, Australia’s oldest public building. Enjoy a delicious lunch at Club Parramatta before cruising along the Parramatta River aboard a RiverCat (purchase own ticket on board), soaking in the views en route to Circular Quay. This evening, we board a luxurious three-hour Vivid Sydney Dinner Cruise. Indulge in a four-course meal while marvelling at the city’s iconic landmarks illuminated in a breathtaking light display.

Day 4. Thu 10 Jun: City Sights
After breakfast, we depart our hotel for a scenic drive through Kirribilli before arriving at Mrs Macquarie’s Chair for iconic views of Sydney Harbour, the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. Continue to the Royal Botanic Garden and Sydney Opera House precinct at Circular Quay. We have time to get some lunch (own expense) before exploring the historic Rocks district. Visit Sydney Tower Eye for spectacular panoramic views across the city. Later, enjoy a scenic harbour drive through Woolloomooloo, Potts Point, Rushcutters Bay, Double Bay, Rose Bay and Watsons Bay before returning via the Harbour Bridge to the View Hotel.

Day 5. Fri 11 Jun: Vaucluse House - Homeport
Enjoy a relaxed final morning with a visit to the historic Vaucluse House and Gardens, one of Sydney’s finest surviving nineteenth-century estates. Explore the beautifully restored interiors and wander through the elegant gardens at our own pace. Afterwards, share a farewell lunch with fellow travelers before transferring to Sydney Airport for our onward flight home, concluding a memorable journey of heritage, food, wine, waterways and Vivid Sydney.
