Day 1. Mon 08 Nov: Homeport to Hobart via Richmond
FLIGHT DETAILS: Homeport - Hobart (flight details to be advised)
We fly into Hobart today and meet our coach captain before travelling to the historic village of Richmond. Enjoy free time to explore the charming streets before touring the convict-built Richmond Gaol, the oldest intact gaol in Australia. Continue to Hobart for a city highlights tour showcasing the waterfront and historic precincts. After hotel check-in, relax and freshen up before gathering for a welcome dinner.

Day 2. Tue 09 Nov: Hobart Heritage & Gardens
Begin at the World Heritage listed Cascades Female Factory, uncovering the powerful story of female convicts. Visit Runnymede, a beautifully preserved 1840 whaling captain’s home and gardens. This afternoon choose between the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens or Constitution Dock precinct, home to museums and maritime history. Wander at leisure and soak up Hobart’s vibrant harbour atmosphere. Dinner is our own choice this evening.

Day 3. Wed 10 Nov: Port Arthur Historic Site
Travel to the Tasman Peninsula, stopping at Eaglehawk Neck and Pirates Bay Lookout for stunning coastal views. Explore the Port Arthur Historic Site on a guided walking tour through the atmospheric convict settlement. Enjoy a harbour cruise past the Isle of the Dead and access interactive exhibits and heritage buildings. Return to Hobart later in the afternoon to relax before dinner.

Day 4. Thu 11 Nov: West Coast Wilderness to Strahan
Journey west to the Salmon Ponds and Museum of Trout Fishing before continuing to Tarraleah Estate for lunch. Visit the extraordinary Wall in the Wilderness at Derwent Bridge, then travel through Franklin Gordon Wild Rivers National Park. Pass Queenstown’s dramatic mining landscape before arriving in Strahan on Macquarie Harbour. Enjoy time to capture sunset photos before a delicious buffet dinner.

Day 5. Fri 12 Nov: Gordon River Cruise & Theatre
Today we board World Heritage Cruises for a spectacular Gordon River journey. Cruise across Macquarie Harbour, through Hells Gates, visit Sarah Island, and stroll a heritage boardwalk among ancient rainforest. Enjoy a Tasmanian produce lunch onboard. This afternoon explore Strahan at leisure. Tonight, delight in the live performance of “The Ship That Never Was,” recounting the daring Sarah Island escape, followed by dinner.

Day 6. Sat 13 Nov: Cradle Mountain & Devils
Travel via Zeehan and Rosebery to Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. Discover Dove Lake, the historic Boatshed, Waldheim Chalet and enjoy short scenic walks with breathtaking alpine views. After lunch, visit Devils at Cradle for the fascinating Daykeeper Tour, learning about Tasmania’s iconic devils. Continue to Smithton for dinner and overnight at Tall Timbers.

Day 7. Sun 14 Nov: Tarkine Wilderness & Arthur River
Experience the rugged northwest coast with a cruise along the wild Arthur River aboard the MV George Robinson. Admire mirrored reflections, pristine rainforest and towering eucalypts. Enjoy a BBQ lunch at Turk’s Landing and witness sea eagles in their natural habitat. Visit the dramatic “Edge of the World” lookout before returning to Smithton for a relaxing dinner.

Day 8. Mon 15 Nov: Stanley, Table Cape & Launceston
Today we visit Stanley and explore Highfield Historic Site beneath The Nut. Continue to spectacular Table Cape for sweeping coastal views and seasonal tulip displays. Enjoy lunch and a guided Whisky Walk at Hellyers Road Distillery, even sealing our own bottle. Indulge in chocolate tastings at House of Anvers before travelling to Launceston for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 9. Tue 16 Nov: Launceston & Heritage Estates
Tour Launceston’s parks before cruising through Cataract Gorge. Visit Brickendon Estate in Longford for insights into colonial and convict history. After lunch, enjoy tastings at the Tasmanian Gourmet Sauce Company. We return to our hotel for leisure time before dinner.

Day 10. Wed 17 Nov: Tamar Valley to Bicheno
Explore Tamar Valley today, including Platypus House and Seahorse World for unique wildlife encounters. Travel via historic Evandale, strolling its beautifully preserved colonial streetscape. Continue across to the East Coast, arriving in Bicheno late afternoon. Optional evening penguin tour available. Dinner and overnight at Beachfront Bicheno.

Day 11. Thu 18 Nov: Freycinet Peninsula to Hobart
We travel to Freycinet National Park and Cape Tourville Lighthouse today for breathtaking views over Wineglass Bay, The Hazards and The Nuggets. Enjoy lunch in Swansea before returning to Hobart. After check-in, there will be time to relax before dinner.

Day 12. Fri 19 Nov: Peppermint Bay Cruise
Today, we take in panoramic views from Mount Nelson Signal Station. Then, cruise along the Derwent River to Peppermint Bay, enjoying scenic waterways and wildlife. Savour a seasonal chef’s lunch overlooking Bruny Island and the D’Entrecasteaux Channel. We return to Hobart for a special farewell dinner.

Day 13. Sat 20 Nov: Departure to Homeport
After breakfast we transfer to the Hobart Airport for our return flight home, concluding our Ultimate Tasmania Experience with Trade Travel.
