Day 1 – Arrival at Uluru / Ayers Rock
Tuesday, 4 August
Arrive at Ayers Rock Airport and collect your hire car.
Enjoy a short, easy drive to your accommodation at Desert Gardens Hotel, set within the beautiful grounds of Ayers Rock Resort.
Spend the afternoon settling in, exploring the resort precinct, or enjoying a relaxed walk through native gardens.

Day 2 – Uluru Sunrise & Field of Light
An early start for a truly unforgettable experience.
This morning, travel to Uluru for sunrise, followed by the spectacular Field of Light installation—a magical display of over 50,000 glowing stems across the desert landscape.
The remainder of the day is at leisure. Optional activities include:

Day 3 – Uluru to Kings Canyon
Thursday, 6 August
Depart Uluru after breakfast and begin your scenic self-drive journey to Kings Canyon (approximately 3.5–4 hours).
Enjoy wide open landscapes and classic Red Centre scenery along the way. Arrive at Discovery Resorts Kings Canyon in the afternoon and take time to relax and soak in the peaceful outback setting.

Day 4 – Guided Kings Canyon Rim Walk
Friday, 7 August
This morning, join a Self-Drive Guided Kings Canyon Rim Walk.
The walk is led by experienced guides who allow participants to set a comfortable pace, with plenty of stops to appreciate the dramatic cliffs, sandstone domes, and ancient landscapes. For those preferring a gentler option, shorter sections can be enjoyed.
The afternoon is free to relax at the resort or explore nearby lookouts.

Day 5 – Kings Canyon to Uluru
Saturday, 8 August
Enjoy a relaxed morning before driving back to the Uluru region.
Spend your final afternoon revisiting favourite spots, enjoying sunset views, or simply unwinding at the resort.

Day 6 – Departure
Sunday, 9 August
After breakfast, drive to Ayers Rock Airport and return your hire car by 12:00.
Depart with lasting memories of Australia’s spiritual heart.
