Depart our homeport for Brisbane on a mid-morning flight before meeting our tour host upon arrival. Travel to scenic Picnic Point, perched high on the Great Dividing Range, offering sweeping views across the Scenic Rim. Continue to Toowoomba and visit the Regional Art Gallery, showcasing diverse local and national works. Afterwards, check into our accommodation and enjoy time to relax before gathering for a welcome dinner with fellow travellers.

Day 2. Thu 16 Sep: Toowoomba Parks & Rosalie House Vineyard
This morning, we stroll through the beautiful Queens Park, renowned for its immaculate flower beds, vibrant
seasonal displays, and shady tree-lined pathways. Enjoy free time to further explore the gardens or relax at your own pace. Later, we travel to Rosalie House Vineyard in the picturesque Lilyvale Valley, where we enjoy a leisurely lunch paired with local wines and stunning countryside views. After lunch, we visit the colourful Laurel Bank Park, admired for its creative floral displays and landscaped gardens. We return to Toowoomba in the afternoon, with the evening at leisure.

Day 3. Fri 17 Sep: Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers
Today is dedicated to experiencing the renowned Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers, a vibrant annual celebration that has delighted visitors since 1950. Explore a selection of stunning private gardens, showcasing spectacular floral displays, creative landscaping, and beautifully maintained grounds. Meet passionate local gardeners and learn about their inspiration, techniques, and dedication to their craft. Enjoy free time for lunch at your own expense before continuing to a curated collection of exhibition gardens, each offering unique designs and colourful blooms. This inspiring day provides endless ideas for gardening enthusiasts and nature lovers alike.

Day 4. Sat 18 Sep: Toowoomba Carnival of Flowers
Experience the highlight of the festival today with the Grand Central Floral Parade, a lively spectacle featuring elaborately decorated floats, marching bands, and street performers. The energy of Toowoomba’s streets brings the celebration to life in a colourful and festive atmosphere. After some free time to purchase lunch, bid farewell to the Garden City. Travel down the range toward the Gold Coast, where the scenery shifts from inland beauty to coastal glamour. Upon arrival, we check into our luxury resort at Sanctuary Cove and enjoy a relaxing evening with dinner.

Day 5. Sun 19 Sep: Gold Coast Hinterland & O’Reilly’s
Journey into the lush Gold Coast Hinterland, passing rolling hills and charming countryside en route to Canungra Valley. Visit O’Reilly’s Canungra Valley Vineyards for a wine tasting and picnic lunch beside the creek. Take time to explore the grounds or interact with alpacas. Continue to O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat in Lamington National Park for a guided treetop canopy walk. Learn about the region’s unique flora and fauna before enjoying afternoon tea overlooking the rainforest. Return to our resort for dinner, concluding a day rich in nature, wildlife, and scenic beauty.

In the afternoon, visit the Gold Coast Regional Botanic Gardens, a tranquil haven featuring themed gardens, walking trails, and a butterfly garden. Enjoy time to wander and appreciate the natural surroundings. We return to our resort for some leisure time before gathering in the evening for a farewell dinner, celebrating the friendships and memories created throughout our journey.

After breakfast, prepare for departure and reflect on the week’s highlights - from vibrant floral displays to serene hinterland landscapes. We transfer to the airport for our return flight home. As our journey concludes, we carry with us lasting memories of colourful gardens, scenic vistas, and shared experiences.
