Day 2. Bangkok: Grand Palace & Wat Pho
This morning, explore Bangkok’s most iconic landmarks. Visit the Grand Palace, former royal residence and home to Wat Phra Kaew, housing the revered Emerald Buddha. Continue to Wat Pho, famous for its colossal Reclining Buddha and traditional Thai massage school. Learn about Thailand’s royal, spiritual, and artistic heritage while walking through ornate halls and courtyards. Afternoon at leisure to explore or shop independently

Day 3. Bangkok to Kanchanaburi
Depart Bangkok this morning for Kanchanaburi, a province renowned for its dramatic scenery and moving wartime history. Visit the Thailand–Burma Railway Museum and the War Cemetery, where you gain insight into the tragic story of the prisoners of war who built the Death Railway during World War II. Continue by long-tail boat along the River Kwai to the famous bridge, an enduring historical symbol. After lunch, enjoy a memorable train journey across wooden viaducts, offering spectacular views of the river and surrounding mountains. Lunch is at a charming riverside market town known for heritage conservation. Continue to Uthai Thani for overnight.
