Day 1. Homeport to Bangkok

FLIGHT DETAILS: to be advised

Arrive at Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport and meet your English-speaking guide before transferring to your hotel in the city centre. After check-in, enjoy free time to relax and prepare for the journey ahead. You may also choose to explore the surrounding area or sample some local Thai cuisine nearby.

Day 2. Bangkok: Grand Palace & Wat Pho

This morning, explore Bangkok’s most iconic landmarks. Visit the Grand Palace, former royal residence and home to Wat Phra Kaew, housing the revered Emerald Buddha. Continue to Wat Pho, famous for its colossal Reclining Buddha and traditional Thai massage school. Learn about Thailand’s royal, spiritual, and artistic heritage while walking through ornate halls and courtyards. Afternoon at leisure to explore or shop independently

Day 3. Bangkok to Kanchanaburi

Depart Bangkok this morning for Kanchanaburi, a province renowned for its dramatic scenery and moving wartime history. Visit the Thailand–Burma Railway Museum and the War Cemetery, where you gain insight into the tragic story of the prisoners of war who built the Death Railway during World War II. Continue by long-tail boat along the River Kwai to the famous bridge, an enduring historical symbol. After lunch, enjoy a memorable train journey across wooden viaducts, offering spectacular views of the river and surrounding mountains. Arrive at your riverside hotel and relax amid peaceful natural surroundings.

Day 4. Kanchanaburi: Erawan Waterfall

After breakfast, head to Erawan National Park, home to one of Thailand’s most beautiful waterfalls. The afternoon is free at leisure, or optionally visit Hellfire Pass Memorial to learn more about the hardships endured during railway construction.

Day 5. Kanchanaburi to Uthai Thani

Depart for Ayutthaya Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former Siamese capital. Explore temple ruins and grand chedis reflecting the city’s former glory. Continue through rural landscapes, stopping at traditional craft communities, including drum making and natural aromatherapy production. Lunch is at a charming riverside market town known for heritage conservation. Continue to Uthai Thani for overnight.

Day 6. Uthai Thani
