Day 1 - Lyon
Welcome to Lyon. Upon arrival, transfer to the Scenic Sapphire where your crew await to welcome you on board.

Meet a local truffle farmer and their specially trained dog to learn the tricks and techniques of truffle farming, before enjoying a tasting of their delicious produce, or visit an organic goat cheese farm and learn about open air farming whilst enjoying a tasting. Alternatively, learn about the traditional craftsmanship of barrel making with a local cooper.
Tonight, your welcome dinner will be created using regionally sourced truffles.

Day 3 - Mâcon

Today your local guide will take you on a fascinating walking tour of the city, highlighting some of the cities most popular culinary aspects as well as some of Rome’s most iconic sights, all while sampling some of the flavours of this truly wondrous city. Tonight you will tantalise your taste buds further with a delicious welcome dinner.

Day 13 - Rome > Sorrento
This morning we bid farewell to Rome and journey south to Sorrento. Perched overlooking the Bay of Naples, today is your chance to explore this laid back town. Stop along the way to taste some of the region’s most famous and delicious produce such as a helping of thick and creamy Gelato and the tangy yet sweet Limoncello. Enjoy a two night stay.

Your first stop today is the medieval village of Assisi, the charming hill top town famous as the home of Saint Francis of Assisi. Then, it’s only a short drive to Perugia to view the Fontana Maggoire and the monuments around the Roman Forum. Tonight, you are in for a special treat with an overnight stay, your resort is surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Umbrian countryside.

Day 16 - Perugia > Bologna
Today we dive deep into the heart of Emilia Romagna, regarded as Italy’s greatest food producing region with Parmigiano Reggiano, Balsamic Vinegar and Tortellini just a few of the culinary specialities of the area. Your local guide will escort you through the region. Stay two nights in Bologna.

Day 17 - Bologna
Journey to nearby Modena where your highlights include a visit to a local producer of Parmigiano Reggiano. Witness production techniques, learn about the aging process and what effects it has on the end product. Afterwards we visit the celebrated Balsamic Vinegar maker Acetaia Giusti, this acclaimed producer dates back to 1605.

Day 18 - Bologna > Florence > Tuscany
This morning we travel to Florence, where we will visit the famous Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio. Then we journey to the medieval village of San Donato where you will learn how to make the perfect Pasta in a rustic farm house. Set in the most picturesque location, this is the perfect setting for our dinner this evening. Our final stop today is your resort.

This morning your local guide will show us the highlights of Siena during a guided tour.

Day 20 - Tuscany > Rome

Your Tour Price includes all coach, rail and cruise travel set out in the Itinerary; the services of a Cruise Director (if applicable) and/or Tour Director; airport transfers outside Australia; meals as specified in Your Itinerary; economy class group flights and air taxes as set out in your Itinerary; accommodation; sightseeing and admissions, where stated in Your Itinerary; port charges; all gratuities and tipping on land tours; and any other specific inclusions identified in Your Itinerary. Unless expressly listed in Your Itinerary as an inclusion, Your Tour Price does not include airfares; airline taxes; shore excursions on ocean cruises; additional optional activities; accommodation upgrades; meals not specified in Your Itinerary; drinks; laundry; passport fees; visas; vaccinations; medical assistance; government taxes and charges (excluding GST); or any items or expenses of a personal nature. Unless stated as an inclusion in Your itinerary, overnight accommodation required to meet Your Tour and/or any flight connections are not included in the Tour Price and will be at Your expense.
4.6 We reserve the right not to honour any published prices that We determine were erroneous due to printing, electronic, or clerical error. If You make a Booking based on erroneous pricing, We will offer You the option of cancelling the Booking and receiving a refund of any amount paid by You or confirming the Booking by paying the difference between the erroneous price and the correct price, as determined by Us. The following Fees are payable in addition to the Tour Price:
(a) If You book 21 days or less before the Tour Departure Date, You must pay a late booking fee of $50.00 per Booking.
(b) If You change Your Booking, other than by varying the Tour Departure Date, You must pay a change fee of $50.00 per Booking. This fee is on account of administrative expenses incurred by Us in changing Your Tour and is a genuine and reasonable estimate of Our expenses.
4.8 If You cancel Your Tour for any reason prior to Your Tour Departure Date (including by changing Your Tour Departure Date or the name of a Guest).
