This trip journeys from Tromsø, a major city in Northern Norway, driving down to Norway’s Capital, Oslo. Along the way you will experience highlights such as the Lofoten Islands, some of Norway’s most dramatic fjords, the Norway in a Nutshell tour, walking tours of major cities and so much more!   1. Day 1

    Day 1 ARRIVE TROMSO (Norway)

    Upon arrival in Tromsø meet your tour leader and be transferred by private coach to your hotel. After checking in, enjoy a guided walking tour to get acquainted with the city of Tromsø. D

    Day 2 TROMSO

    Today is at leisure. You may like to relax or join an optional excursion. This evening, join the group for a planned midnight sun soft hike and Sami Culture tour. B

  3. Day 3


    Enjoy breakfast buffet in your hotel, then drive from Tromsø to Harstad with your private coach. Upon arrival into Harstad we visit the Trondenes Historical Centre – which showcases more than 2000 years of history. B

    After breakfast buffet in your hotel, we will drive from Harstad to Svolvær. Upon arrival into Svolvaer check into your hotel and have the rest of the day at leisure. B

    Day 5 SVOLVAER

    After breakfast, experience the magnificent Lofoten Islands by sea! With a bit of luck, you can see both eagles and seals, and a great variation of bird life on a trip to the Trollfjord – one of the most dramatic fjords of Norway. You also visit the whaling island Skrova with its charming harbour. Evening at leisure or optional extra evening excursion. B

    After Breakfast buffet in hotel, we drive from Svolvær to Moskenes where you will board the ferry to Bodø. After checking into your hotel, the rest of the day is at leisure. B

  7. Day 7

    Day 7 BODO - MO I RANA

    Today, after a buffet breakfast, we will drive from Bodø to Mo i Rana with your private coach. On the way we will visit Grønligrotto, one of the largest and most visited caves in the Nordic region, for a guided tour. This evening is at leisure. B

  8. Day 8


    This morning after breakfast we will be leaving for Brønnøysund. On the way we will stop at Torghatten to view it’s distinctive hole (natural tunnel) going clear through the mountain. Here, you will also have time to enjoy the view and the magic scenery. Upon arrival in Brønnøysund, the rest of the day/evening is at leisure. B

    After breakfast depart for Trondheim. En route we will stop in the very charming local village called Straumen. Here we will visit Gulburet – a yellow old storehouse full of delicious treats, history and experiences. After arriving into Trondheim and checking into our hotel, the rest of the evening is at leisure. B

  10. Day 10


    Today we drive to Ålesund along the Atlantic highway Road, which takes us from lush coastal landscapes and heaths to bare rocks along the exposed Hustadvika. The Atlantic Road has been called the world’s most beautiful drive and has been voted the “Norwegian construction of the century.” Evening is at leisure. B

  11. Day 11

    Day 11 ALESUND

    Today, partake in a coastal cruise from Ålesund to Harøya via Lepsøy and Haramsøy. Enjoy stunning views of hundreds of small islets, reefs and islands in the Sunmøre archipelago – if you are lucky you might even see eagles, killer whales or seals. You can either do just the boat trip or you can choose to stay on at Harøya. The island of Harøya offers a variety of experiences. The mountain Harøyburet gives you a fantastic view over the many islands, islets and reefs. B

  12. Day 12

    Day 12 ALESUND - LOEN

    Early start today, after breakfast we are heading for Loen, stopping at the Geirangerfjord along the way for lunch. The iconic Geirangerfjord is considered one of the most beautiful fjords in the world and is included on the UNESCO World Heritage list. Later, stop at the Dalnibba, Geiranger Skywalk, for incredible views from atop a mountain. B, L & D

    Departing Loen we are now heading for Balestrand, with another stop at Fjærlandsfjord. Here we will experience the Boyaoyri estuary, a river delta which is home to over 100 different species of birds, and visit Boya Glacier, a branch of the Jostedal Glacier. Afternoon is at leisure in Balestrand before we meet up again for a 3 course dinner. B & D

  14. Day 14


    A fantastic day of fjords and mountain scenery awaits with the iconic Songnefjord and Norway in a Nutshell. Begin with a boat cruise to Flåm before embarking on the famous Flåm Railway, one of the world's steepest railway lines, and watch the changing scenery from your window. In the span of a single hour, the train takes you from ocean level in Flåm, to the mountaintop at Myrdal mountain station on Hardangervidda, 867 meters over the ocean. Enjoy time in Myrdal before we continue by train to Bergen. B

  15. Day 15

    Day 15 BERGEN

    Today, enjoy a walking tour of Bergen – Norway’s second largest city with roots to the Viking Age – where you will learn Bergen’s 900 years of history. After the city walk we will head up to the top of Bergen via the Fløibanen funicular railway. As one of Bergen’s best-known attractions this is an experience itself, but you will also be met with incredible views at the top. B

    Stavanger is on our list to explore today. You will be charmed by the city’s old town and travel back in time through the different periods that were of great importance to the city’s development and economy. B

  17. Day 17

    Day 17 STAVANGER

    Today we do the beautiful Lysefjord cruise, an absolute highlight in the Stavanger region. Sail through the most southern fjord of Norway passing by waterfalls and beautiful islands. We also visit the unique rock formation called Pulpit Rock, which is one of nature’s wonders and one of the region’s most visited sites. If you want to climb Pulpit Rock to take that iconic photography shot, that is an optional extra. In the evening we cap off the day with a group dinner at “Fisketorget” – famous for fresh fish and seafood. B & D

  18. Day 18


    This afternoon we head towards Kristiansand. On the way we will be stopping at the newly opened, highly anticipated restaurant “Under” for dinner. “Under” in Lindenes will be Europe’s first, and the world’s largest, underwater restaurant. Enjoy a gastronomic tasting menu with the panoramic view of the ocean floor providing a dramatic backdrop. B & D

    This morning is at leisure before a midday departure to Oslo. The rest of the evening at leisure, or you can partake in the optional evening food tour. B

  20. Day 20

    Day 20 OSLO

    A full day of activities today. After breakfast we will meet with a local guide for the grand tour of Oslo. Highlights include the Opera House, Akershus Fortress, the Oslo Håndverks Distillery and the Viking Ship Museum. Tonight we reminisce about our incredible adventure over a farewell dinner at Louis Restaurant. B & D

    Day 21 DEPART OSLO

    After breakfast buffet in hotel the tour ends. Transfers included to Oslo airport or pier/train station for you chosen post tour. B
