Day 1: Australia – Lima
Fly from Australia to Lima via Santiago. Transfer from airport to hotel.
Day 2: Lima
Join a tour of the city, including the historic centre with its’ many colonial buildings,
the San Francisco monastery and the Larco Museum.
Day 3: Lima – Cusco - Yucay.
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Cusco. Met on arrival and transfer to the hotel located in the Sacred Valley, en-route visit the village of Chincheros with its
colourful market including lunch at a local restaurant.
Day 4: Sacred Valley.
Morning at leisure for optional touring. This afternoon visit Ollantaytambo
ruins and its imposing fortress.
Day 5: Yucay - Machu Picchu - Cusco
Rise early to board the train for the scenic journey to
Aguas Calientes. Upon arrival short transfer by bus to Machu Picchu. Explore the ruin site with a
local guide. This afternoon board the train for the journey back to Cusco.
Day 6: Cusco
Half day city tour of Cusco and its surrounding ruins. Visit the old town, Plaza de Armas and Sacsayhuaman. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 7: Cusco - Puno.
full day shared bus tour from Cusco to Puno. Journey through the Peruvian highlands along snow-covered peaks of the Andes, reaching its highest point in La Raya at 4,300 metres above sea level. Arrive into Puno early evening and transfer to the hotel.
Day 8: Puno - Lake Titicaca – Lima
