Come and join your Outback Australia guide in your small group tour vehicle to explore the most profound and culturally significant monolith in Australia. Embrace the culture, geology and environment that is Uluru. You will meander into Mutitjulu Waterhole, undertake the Mala Walk and visit rock art sites with your guide to learn of Uluru’s significance to the Anangu (local Aboriginal) people. Adjourn to the Talinguru Nyakunytjaku viewing area where you will observe an uninterrupted sunset over Uluru with Kata Tjuta in the distance. Sip on chilled sparkling wine as the sun sets in the west.


As you start your sunrise trek around the full 12 kilometer base trail of Uluru you will embrace the culture, geology and environment that is the essence of this amazing monolith. Your guide will tell the cultural stories (Tjukurpa) of Liru (poisonous snake) and Kuniya (woma python), as well as many other Aboriginal creation stories associated with this central Australian icon. Along the trail you will witness sunrise, visit waterholes and the rock art sites of the ancients and learn of Uluru’s cultural significance to the Anangu (local Aboriginal) people.



Revel in the early morning serenity of a truly spiritual place as the sunrise colours change on Kata Tjuta. Enjoy a picnic breakfast overlooking this Central Australian icon. Learn about this diverse environment whilst walking between the mighty conglomerate rock walls into Walpa Gorge and hearing how the 36 domes that make up Kata Tjuta have evolved over millions of years. Take time to listen to the wind (Walpa) far above and view the scale of the rock walls that surround you. The spirituality of this amazing location embraces everyone who ventures here.

VALLEY OF THE WINDS TREK Welcome to the world of Kata Tjuta and the Valley of the Winds. These spiritual domes offer a challenging and difficult (Grade 4) walk between the giant geological formations showcasing awe-inspiring scenery. Your guide will lead you on this 7.5km walk, (the entire circuit) through this sacred men’s area where you will see a diverse range of flora and learn about the European history of this amazing region. Please note: High level of fitness required - rocky, uneven terrain with steep ascents and descents.
