Friday 20 July Brisbane, Queensland Today you will be transferred from the Brisbane Airport to the Cruise Terminal and board Pacific Aria. Your cruise includes on board meals and entertainment. Included meals: dinner Accommodation: Pacific Aria - 4 nights

Saturday 21 July Today you will be cruising at sea. Treat yourself and dine at one of the delicious specialty restaurants this evening, then catch a broadway style show in the theatre or put your dancing shoes on to complete a perfect evening on board. Included meals: breakfast, lunch & dinner

Thursday 26 July This morning you will arrive into Darwin and disembark. Join your fellow passengers on a sightseeing tour of Darwin. Get the perfect introduction to Darwin’s history and landscape. Hear the stories of early settlers as you visit the Chinese Temple and stroll through the Botanic Gardens. View historic sites including the East Point Military Precinct, Mooring Basin and the Stokes Hill Wharf area. There’s even time to explore the region’s premier cultural institution, the Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, with collections encompassing Aboriginal art and Northern Territory history. Friday 27 July Today make the most of your Hop on Hop off pass. Don’t miss a thing aboard the open-top double decker tour of Darwin complemented by an entertaining and informative commentary. This pass allows you the freedom to plan your own itinerary and visit the landmarks and attractions at your own pace. There are 10 stops including Crocosauras Cove, Doctor’s Gully, Cullen Bay Marina, Darwin Military Museum and Waterfront Precinct. Included meals: breakfast

Day 9

Saturday 28 July Boarding early for the drive to Litchfield National Park you will be entertained by your Driver Guide. The gorgeous, historical town of Batchelor is the gateway to Litchfield National Park. Today, Batchelor’s townsfolk love to host visitors to Litchfield National Park and it’s here that you’ll enjoy morning tea (own expense) at one of their local cafés. View the termite mounds found at Litchfield National Park and the spectacular double waterfall of Florence Falls from a high vantage point, before making your way down the stairs to take a dip in the gorgeous plunge pool. One of the three major waterfalls along the western face of the Tabletop Range is Tolmer Falls. Marvel at the water cascading down into the deep waterhole at the base of the falls, home to several colonies of rare ghost bats and orange horseshoe bats. Included in your tour is lunch at the Litchfield Café. Relax, enjoy the company of your fellow travellers and if you’re ready for another swim, Wangi Falls is the most accessible of rock pools and is a perfect spot to take another dip. Included meals: breakfast & lunch

Sunday 29 July Today you will have a free day in Darwin, the Mindil Beach Markets will be on today which are always worth a visit. Included meals: breakfast

Day 11

Monday 30 July Today rise early for your Kakadu National Park tour. Begin your day by travelling on one of the longest roads in Australia, the Stuart Highway. Kakadu National Park covers an area of more than 19,800 square kilometres, is World Heritage listed and is the largest National Park in Australia. The combination of mangrove fringed coastal areas, flood plains, open woodland and forest habitats, make Kakadu one of the most diverse landscapes you will ever experience. Be mesmerised as you wander the Nourlangie rock art site. The 1.5km walk around the base of the rock, led by your Driver Guide, will give you the opportunity to see many different forms of Aboriginal rock art paintings. After lunch (included) join your local guide for a cruise on the Yellow Water Billabong. The picturesque yellow waters are home to thousands of saltwater crocodiles and up to 60 species of colourful birdlife. The Bininj people are the traditional custodians of Kakadu National Park and now we visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre to introduce you to their way of life. Travel back to Darwin late this evening after a full and eventful day exploring Australia’s largest National Park. Included meals: breakfast & lunch

Tuesday 31 July Today you will have a free day in Darwin to explore. Included meals: breakfast

Day 13

Wednesday 1 August Today you will be transferred from your hotel to the Darwin Rail Terminal to board The Ghan Expedition and travel by rail from Darwin to Adelaide. Prepare for a journey of comfort, relaxation and a touch of adventure, as the legendary Ghan takes you deep into the heart of Australia.

Day 14

Thursday 2 August Continue your journey aboard The Ghan making an extended stop in Alice Springs today, the heart of the Red Centre

Day 15

Friday 3 August Today you will make an extended stop at Manguri. Your destination, the sun scorched opal mining capital of the world, Coober Pedy.

Day 16

Saturday 4 August Today you will arrive into Adelaide and disembark. You will be transferred from the Adelaide Rail Terminal to the Adelaide Airport, marking the end of your holiday. Speak with your consultant about adding any required flights. Included meals: breakfast
