Day 1

Arrive Victoria Be met on arrival and transfer to your hotel before a Welcome Dinner. Stay: Two Nights: Vancouver Island, Victoria Marriott Inner Harbour Hotel (D)

Day 2

Victoria, Freedom of Choice Sightseeing Visit The Butchart Gardens before the crowds have arrived and enjoy breakfast in the original Butchart residence. After exploring the gardens, choose from a range of activities. (B)

Day 3

Georgia Strait, Vancouver Ride the ferry across Georgia Strait to Vancouver. Here, enjoy a tour, then explore the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park before dinner. Later, board VIA Rail for your overnight journey. Stay: VIA Rail in Sleeper Touring Class (B,D)

Day 4

VIA Rail, Jasper, Freedom of Choice Dining Awake in the beautiful Rockies and tonight, dine at one of your hotel’s exceptional restaurants. Stay: Jasper National Park, The Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge or similar (B,L,D)

Day 5

Athabasca Glacier, Banff Today, ride an Ice Explorer onto the Athabasca Glacier. This evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure. Stay: Two Nights: Banff National Park, The Fairmont Banff Springs (B)

Day 6

Banff, Freedom of Choice Sightseeing & Dining Today choose from a range of activities in Banff. Later, enjoy dinner at one of your hotel’s restaurants. (B,D)

Day 7

Banff, Lake Louise, Freedom of Choice Dining Today Meet a Mountie, ride the Banff Gondola and tour Banff. Afterwards, travel to Lake Louise and join a Mountain Heritage Guide for a stroll. Day 8

Sun Peaks Descend from the Canadian Rockies to the lovely Sun Peaks. Stay: Sun Peaks Grand Hotel (B,D)

Day 9

Whistler Travel via the rural town of Lillooet, and stop at Seton and Duffey lakes on your way to Whistler. Stay: The Westin Whistler Resort and Spa (B,D)

Day 10

Vancouver Enjoy a morning at leisure before returning to Vancouver for a Farewell Dinner this evening. Stay: Vancouver, The Fairmont Waterfront Hotel (B,D)

Day 11

Alaskan Inside Passage Cruise Travel to Seattle and board your ship. Later, enjoy a delightful Sail Away Dinner at the renowned Pinnacle Grill plus a lunch here on the day of your choosing. Stay: Seven Nights: Holland America Line’s ms Westerdam in a Verandah Stateroom (B,D)

Day 12

Cruise the Inside Passage Enjoy a full day at sea as your ship cruises along coastal British Columbia and the Alaska Panhandle. Take in the incredible views as you glide past rocky headlands and over the icy waters of the Inside Passage, one of the most picturesque sea-lanes in the world, and one of the few where deep-draft vessels can sail close to steep mountain walls. Day 13

Juneau Today your ship will dock in Alaska’s capital, Juneau, set at the foot of grand mountain peaks on the Gastineau Channel. Here, explore at leisure or perhaps take part in an excursion (own expense). (B,L,D)

Day 14

Glacier Bay Wake up to the breathtaking sight of World Heritage-listed Glacier Bay National Park with its rivers of ice and sky-scraping peaks. As you cruise, you’ll benefit from the commentary of local rangers who have come aboard to point out the wildlife that calls the area home. (B,L,D)

Day 15

Sitka Arrive in the Alaskan town of Sitka, flanked by majestic snow-capped mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Once the capital of Russian Alaska, Sitka still retains its strong Russian and Tlingit heritage. (B,L,D)

Day 16

Ketchikan Ketchikan is a cheerful town that’s set right on the shores of the Tongass Narrows, with many shops and houses built right out over the water. Besides the main attractions of the town itself, including the Tongass Historical Museum and Totem Bight State Park, Ketchikan also acts as a gateway to Misty Fjords National Monument. (B,L,D)

Day 17

Victoria Enjoy a last wonderful day at sea amid the glacial landscapes of the Inside Passage. This evening, your ship will remain docked in Victoria on Vancouver Island. (B,L,D)

Day 18

Depart Seattle On arrival in Seattle this morning, disembark your ship and transfer to the airport for your flight home. (B)
